(a) Following the receipt of an application for a license under this chapter, if the town manager, code enforcement officer or building commissioner determine that hazardous materials or other safety or planning concerns require an inspection by the fire, police, code enforcement officer, and/or building commissioner prior to the issuance of such license, the town manager shall refer such application to the proper office for making such inspection within thirty days of the time of such receipt.
(b) The officer with the department charged with the duty of making an inspection shall make a report thereon, favorable or otherwise, to the town manager within ten days after receiving the application or a copy thereof from the town manager requesting the inspection. (Ord. 1058 §1(part), 2006).
