The town police chief or any police officer may seize the license of any licensee who falsifies or violates the terms of such licensee’s application, engages in prohibited activities as defined in this chapter or fails to comply with the provisions of this chapter. The license of the revoked or cancelled license may appeal this action to the town council at its next regularly scheduled meeting. If the town council determines that the license was improperly revoked or cancelled, it may direct the clerk-treasurer to issue a new license to the licensee.
