5.08.020 Fee.

Any person desiring a license to own, keep or control, for hire or pay, any billiard or pool table shall first pay to the treasurer the sum of fifty dollars for the first three tables or less than three tables, and ten dollars for each additional table, and upon presentation of a receipt for the amount to the clerk, together with a definite description and statement of the building, room and location where the applicant desires to conduct these games, and an affidavit duly executed by the applicant showing therein that the applicant is a resident of the town, which affidavit shall show the street address of the residence of the applicant, the clerk shall issue a license to the applicant to carry on the games for a period of one year.
