Chapter 5.24 PARKING AT “500” MILE RACE
5.24.010 Leasing of parking space--Annual license required.
During the month of May or until the completion of the Indianapolis
“500” Mile Race, whichever terminates later, or during the scheduled
week of the Brickyard 400 or until the completion of the Brickyard 400,
whichever terminates later, a license shall be required each year of each
person, persons, firm, corporation or organization selling, leasing or licensing
space upon property located outside the race track having a total area of more
than seven-eighths of an acre, within the corporate limits of the town to
patrons of the “500” Mile Race or the Brickyard 400 for the purpose
of parking motor vehicles and trailers. The license will be issued by the
clerk-treasurer upon the payment of a fee as provided in Section 5.24.020 and
upon the compliance with Section 5.24.030. (Ord. 831 § 2, 1994: Ord. 790,
