Chapter 5.28 LICENSING OF CERTAIN EVENTS
5.28.050 Investigation, rejection and notification.
The clerk-treasurer, before issuing a license, shall investigate the
character of the applicant or applicants, promoter or promoters, and officers or
general manager of the business. A license may be denied if the clerk-treasurer
shall find that any of the persons named in the application shall have
previously been convicted of a felony connected with any sporting event or rock
concert where the license has been comply in every way with the ordinances and
laws applicable thereto. If the application is denied, the applicant for such
permit shall be notified in writing of the reasons for the rejection and shall
have the right to appeal this decision to the town board. (Ord. 595 § 5,
1978).
