(a) It is unlawful for any person, firm, corporation or association to operate, conduct or maintain a bathhouse, massage parlor, massage school, massage therapy clinic, massage therapy school, adult bookstore, adult museum or adult theater without a license to operate such bathhouse, massage parlor, massage school, massage therapy clinic, massage therapy school, adult bookstore, adult museum, or adult theater issued by the clerk-treasurer.
(b) It is unlawful for any person or firm licensed to operate a bathhouse, massage parlor, massage school, massage therapy clinic, or massage therapy school to employ or permit any person to perform a massage unless such person is licensed as a massage therapist by the clerk-treasurer.
(c) It is unlawful for any person to be employed as a massage therapist or to perform massages for a fee unless such person is licensed as a massage therapist by the clerk-treasurer. (Ord. 590 § 2, 1978).
