It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct a garage sale without first registering such sale in a book kept for that purpose in the office of the clerk-treasurer of the civil town. Registration shall be required at least forty-eight hours before the first day of the garage sale and must include the dates and the number of days of the garage sale (not to exceed three consecutive days).
