(a) The Speedway solid waste management commission shall recommend and the Speedway town council shall impose rules and regulations for the implementation of the collection and recycling program.
(b) Upon passage and publication of the ordinance codified in this chapter in accordance with Indiana law, violation of this chapter or of any rules and regulations imposed under this section shall be enforceable in the same manner as other penal ordinances, and violations shall be punishable by a fine of no more than fifty dollars. Each offense shall constitute a separate violation. (Amended during 4/01 supplement; Ord. 841 § 1(d), 1994).
