Chapter 7.05 ANIMALS
7.05.190 Penalties.
(a) Any person violating Section 7.05.060 other than subsections (b) and
(d) will be fined thirty-five dollars for a first offense and not less than two
hundred dollars for subsequent offenses. Also, the court upon request may order
forfeiture or other disposition of the animal involved. A judgment by the court
which orders forfeiture or other disposition of the animal by the town or any
third party shall include as a part of such judgment adequate provisions for the
collection of costs of forfeiture or impoundment from the person found in
violation.
(b) Any person violating subsections (b) and (d) of Sections
7.05.060 or 7.05.120 will be fined one hundred dollars for a first offense and
not less than two hundred dollars for subsequent offenses. Also, the court upon
request may order forfeiture or other disposition of the animal involved. A
judgment by the court which orders forfeiture or other disposition of the animal
by the town or any third party shall include as a part of such judgment adequate
provisions for the collection of costs of forfeiture or impoundment from the
person found in violation.
(c) Any person violating Sections 7.05.100,
7.05.130 or 7.05.150 will be fined fifty dollars for a first offense and not
less than seventy-five for subsequent offenses.
(d) Any person violating
Sections 7.05.160 or 7.05.180 will be fined one hundred dollars for a first
offense and a minimum of two hundred dollars but not more than the amount
allowed by the general penalty of this code for subsequent offenses.
(e)
Any person violating any other sections of this chapter will be fined
thirty-five dollars for a first offense and not less than fifty dollars for
subsequent offenses. (Ord. 950 §1(part), 2001).
