A. No person shall use or threaten to use or be holding an air- or gas-propelled weapon discharging a metal or plastic pellet, BB or dart within one hundred feet of or on school or public property within the town when people are present on school or public property.
B. Violation of this section shall result in a fine of one hundred dollars and the confiscation of the weapon by the police department which cannot be recovered until the fine has been paid. If the violator is a minor and the matter is not resolved as a juvenile matter, the fine and weapon confiscation shall be enforced against the minor’s parent(s).
