“Pinball machine” as used in this chapter shall have the common, ordinary and accepted meaning of the term “pinball machine” in the community. For the aid of the courts in understanding the meaning, and not by way of limitation, but only by way of explanation, pinball machines are defined as follows:
Any machine in which small balls or ball bearings are propelled across a tilted plane and scores are made by the ball hitting obstacles on the plane or scores are made by the balls going in particular places. (Ord. 190 § 3, 1953).
