Smoking shall not be permitted at any time except where it is a necessary and rehearsed part of a performance and only by a regular performing member of the cast. Approval for such performance shall be obtained from the chief of the bureau of fire prevention. The chief shall not grant an approval unless suitable fire extinguishment appliances are available and proper precautions to guard against fire have been prescribed. (Ord. 483 § 17, 1972).
