Playground recreation areas shall be open daily from six a.m. to ten-thirty p.m. from May 1st through October 31st and daily from eight a.m. to eight p.m. from November 1st through April 30th. Such areas are not to be used outside of such hours. The board of trustees and board of recreation of the town are authorized to close any playground or recreation area when necessary to protect the public health and welfare or to restore or preserve the public peace.
