Chapter 10.20 SPEED LIMITS*
10.20.070 Speed limits on thoroughfares.
(a) The town council finds that a reasonable and safe prima facie speed
limit not to exceed forty miles per hour is determined and declared for the
following thoroughfares or streets:
(1) Georgetown
Road;
(2) Crawfordsville Road.
(b) The town council finds that a
reasonable and safe prima facie speed limit not to exceed thirty-five miles per
hour is determined and declared for the following thoroughfares or
streets:
(1) High School Road;
(2) 16th Street (from Georgetown Road
east to the corporate limits of the town);
(3) 10th Street;
(4) 25th
Street (between Lynhurst Drive and Georgetown Road;
(5) Polco Street between
West 10th Street to the south and West 16th Street on the north.
(c) The
town council finds that a reasonable and safe prima facie speed limit not to
exceed thirty miles per hour is determined and declared for the following
thoroughfares or streets:
(1) 16th Street (west from Lynhurst Drive
to Cunningham Road); and
(2) Cunningham Road.
(d) The town council finds
that a reasonable and safe prima facie speed limit not to exceed twenty-five
miles per hour is determined and declared for the following thoroughfare or
street:
