13.06.020 Violation--Warning procedure--Subsequent violation--Penalty.

When a user of water is found to have violated the adopted restrictions in the first instance, the user will be given a written warning. Such warning will inform the user of the adopted restrictions and potential sanctions for future violations of the restrictions. No fines or penalties, including termination of water service, shall be imposed for first offenses. However, after receiving a written warning pursuant to this section, if user commits a subsequent violation of a board-adopted water restriction, a fine of one hundred dollars per day shall be imposed on the user. (Amended during 4/01 supplement; Ord. 757 § 2, 1988).
