Any person, persons, firm, corporation or organization violating this chapter shall be fined the sum of one hundred dollars. Violations of this chapter are nuisances and the town may abate the same by employing contractors to make the necessary connection, or by making the connection with the town’s own employees, and charging the expense thereof to the owner. The fine imposed herein and the cost of abatement, if any, shall be secured by a lien on the real property of the owner. (Amended during 4/01 supplement; Ord. 518 § 33, 1974: Ord. 377 § 5, 1966).
