15.24.010 Definitions.

When used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
(1) A “single family unit of housing” is any residential building designed for use by one family household.
(2) A “multiple family unit of housing” is any residential building designed for use by more than one family household; it includes, but is not limited to apartments and town houses.
(3) A “housing development” consists of a single parcel of land on which two or more units of housing are built or located. The buildings may or may not be sold separately to different buyers. The buildings may be either sold or rented.
(4) A “commercial development” is a single parcel of land on which more than one commercial building is built or located. It includes, but is not limited to, shopping centers, handicraft centers and industrial development parks. The buildings may either be rented by the developer or his successors, or be sold separately to different buyers.
(5) A “commercial building” is any structure which is used for commercial or industrial purposes, as such purposes are defined in the zoning laws.
(6) A “developer” is any person, persons, firm or corporation that builds any housing development or commercial development within the corporate limits of the town.
(7) A “single parcel of land” is all contiguous land owned by one person or corporation, or by one group of persons, whether the land is held under one deed or under several deeds. (Ord. 381 § 1, 1966).
