15.28.060 Fire inspection.

The fire chief, or any officer of the bureau of fire prevention, may, at all reasonable hours, enter any building or premises making any inspections deemed necessary. They shall inspect or cause to be inspected, as often as necessary, but not less than twice a year in outlying districts and four times a year in the closely built portions of the town, all buildings, premises and public thoroughfares, except the interior of private dwellings, for the purpose of ascertaining and causing to be corrected any conditions liable to cause fire, or any violations of the provisions or intent of any ordinance affecting the fire hazard, (Ord. 442 § 6, 1970).
